Sofia Nappi si diploma all’Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater (NY) per poi approfondire i suoi studi con Hofesh Shechter e con la Batsheva Dance Company, dove sta attualmente conseguendo la sua certificazione come insegnante di tecnica Gaga con il coreografo Ohad Naharin. Interprete di lavori firmati da artisti di fama internazionale tra i quali Sita Ostheimer, Jon Ole Olstad, Alvin Ailey, Alessio Silvestrin, Sidra Bell, Netta Yerushalmy e altri ancora, Sofia è direttrice artistica e co-fondatrice del suo progetto KOMOCO, generosamente sostenuto dalla storica Ass. Sosta Palmizi.
È coreografa ospite per compagnie internazionali, artista in residenza, presenta numerosi lavori con il suo gruppo e tiene workshop professionali in Germania, USA, Italia, Olanda, Israele, Spagna e Ungheria.

Sofia Nappi graduated from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater (NY) and then deepened her studies with Hofesh Shechter and Batsheva Dance Company, where she is currently training as an ambassador of Gaga technique, Ohad Naharin’s movement language. Interpreter of works signed by internationally renowned artists including Sita Ostheimer, Jon Ole Olstad, Alvin Ailey, Alessio Silvestrin, Sidra Bell, Netta Yerushalmy and more. Sofia is also artistic director and co-founder of her project KOMOCO, generously supported by the historic Sosta Palmizi association. Sofia has been guest choreographer for dance companies, artist in residence, she has been presenting work with her own dance group and taught professional workshops in North America, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Israel, Spain and Hungary.
