Violetto Bellosguardo, chapter 1: blueberry blues is a choreographic excerpt from a multidisciplinary solo that questions the ethical, cultural, and affective implications in the practice of intergenerational name transmission.
Violet Beauregarde from Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory serves as a pop and conceptual counterweight.
The presence of the macabre in children’s literature – drawing from the analysis of Jacob M. Held’s Roald Dahl and Philosophy: A Little Nonsense Now and Then and A Thematic Analysis of Roald Dahl’s Adult Fiction – aligns with the conception of identity construction as a form of negotiation under historical and symbolic constraints.
Among the crucial points of the creative process is the relationship between punishment and the inhibition of a conscious morality, aiming to reclaim the aesthetics of excess through distinct codes belonging to Gen Z.
Autobiography and fiction merge, within a camp, intimate and provocative frame.
