Arnau Pérez de la Fuente

Arnau Pérez de la Fuente is a scenic creator, choreographer and dancer born in
Blanes, Girona.
He graduated in Contemporary Dance Performance at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila in Madrid and holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Stage philosophy and Creation from ESADCYL.
As a choreographer, he has developed his pieces with companies such as Company E (Washington DC), Jove Companyia Gerard Collins (Valencia), Jove Ballet de Catalunya (Barcelona), Laboratorio 180 (Madrid), and the
Conservatorio Superior de Danza de Madrid (CSDMA).
He provides artistic and choreographic guidance for artists such as Daniel Rodríguez, Sólodos, Instituto Stocos, and the Compañía Nacional de Danza under the direction of Muriel Romero.
As a performer, he has danced with companies such as Daniel Abreu, Institut Stocos, Compañía Elías Aguirre, València Dancing Forward, and Marcat Dance.
He has been awarded the prize for Best Choreography at the 24th Masdanza Festival and the International Solo-Tanz Festival in Stuttgart. In addition, he received the Audience Award, Young Jury Prize, and Outstanding Dancer Award
at the 32nd Madrid Choreographic Competition. The latter prize granted him a scholarship to attend the American Dance Festival as part of the International Choreographers Residency.
His work has been selected as a Recommended Piece and included in the Dansaescena circuit of the Spanish Theatre Network. He has also been chosen by the Acieloabierto network. His creations have been performed in countries
such as Costa Rica, the United States, Italy, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Germany, Chile, France, and throughout Spain at festivals such as Cádiz en Danza, Matadero Madrid, Teatros del Canal, Conde Duque, Masdanza, Dansa
Metropolitana, Sismògraf, among others.
He has been an artist-in-residence at Matadero Madrid, Centro Coreográfico Canal, Conde Duque, Compañía Nacional de Danza, Estruch Fàbrica de Creació, Grand Theatre Groningen, Fabra i Coats, Sala Insular de Teatre, Centro
Coreográfico de la Gomera, Teatre de Lloret, and more.
He also combines his work as a choreographer and dancer with teaching in a wide variety of contexts. He has led workshops for professionals, summer intensives, and has collaborated on projects with public schools to bring dance
and choreography to younger generations.
