Lorenzo Morandini, classe 1993, avvia la propria formazione al Teatro Nuovo di Torino. Nel 2016 si diploma al Trinity Laban di Londra con la ricerca coreografica “The Enlightenment”. Dal 2018 al 2021 è tra gli autori del progetto Incubatore CIMD di Milano, nel corso del quale sviluppa il progetto coreografico “Idillio”. Al contempo avvia un percorso personale di ricerca di movimento ispirato a esperienze di training svolte in natura. Nel 2020 è selezionato per il progetto formativo Nuove Traiettorie.
Con AZIONIfuoriPOSTO organizza dal 2020 la rassegna “danzare A monte” in Val di Fiemme. È interprete per il progetto “Perspectiva: vedere attraverso” ideato da Silvia Dezulian e Filippo Porro, presentato a Oriente Occidente Dance Festival 2020 e CROSS Festival 2021.
Il suo progetto “Idillio” è stato accompagnato nel suo sviluppo da diverse realtà, fra queste i festival Più che danza! e MilanOltre, le residenze presso Movimento Danza, la compagnia Abbondanza/ Bertoni con il bando KOMM TANZ e il CID di Rovereto all’interno di Passo Nord. La creazione è stata selezionata per la Vetrina della giovane danza d’autore 2021 del Network Anticorpi XL.

Lorenzo Morandini, born in 1993, started his training at the Teatro Nuovo in Turin. In 2016 he graduated from Trinity Laban in London with the choreographic research “The Enlightenment”. From 2018 to 2021 he is among the authors of the project Incubatore CIMD in Milan, during which he develops the choreographic project “Idillio”. At the same time he starts a personal movement research path inspired by training experiences carried out in nature. In 2020 he was selected for the training project of Network Anticorpi XL, Nuove Traiettorie. With AZIONIfuoriPOSTO he has been organising the “danzare A monte” Festival in Val di Fiemme since 2020. He is the performer for the project “Perspectiva: vedere attraverso” conceived by Silvia Dezulian and Filippo Porro, presented at Oriente Occidente Dance Festival 2020 and CROSS Festival 2021.
The project “Idillio” has been accompanied in its development by different realities, among them the festivals Più che danza! and MilanOltre, the residencies at Movimento Danza, the company Abbondanza/Bertoni with the announcement KOMM TANZ and the CID of Rovereto within Passo Nord.
