The Garden is a still dance. A living freeze frame. The overexposed vision of an absolute icon in the darkroom of the theatre. A body lies prone on the ground, inert, immersed in a flow of imaginary sounds capable of redefining its contours each time. An abandoned, fallen, dreaming, dying body. A body vibrating under the dim lights of a stage without a show. A body that twirls its resistance to time in a stasis that is not an alternative to movement, but coexists with it. Immanent eternity. A paradoxical paradise whose final demiurge turns out to be the spectator, who with his or her imaginative capacity becomes the active subject of the representation. In this abandoned Eden, inhabited only by voices and low-fi sound ghosts, from archives out of time, the subject is the very act of looking and seeing. Blending cinema, theatre, sport, performance, and DJ sets, The Garden triggers an intermedial collapse that lies at the heart of the scenic and spectacular device in the will of its continuous mise en abyme.
