What does it mean to create dance today?
Can the creative act truly ignore external judgment and personal experience? Continuing the research begun with A Solo in the Spotlights (2022), Vittorio Pagani questions the mechanisms of dance production, staging the (super)creative process behind his new show.
SUPERSTELLA is both an existential and artistic inquiry that oscillates between chaos and order, between idealization and reality, between the desire for completion and the allure of perpetual becoming.
This creative limbo – made of backstage, flashbacks, and future perspectives – turns the present into a space where nothing is created and nothing is destroyed, but everything transforms.
Inspired by the myth of movie STARS and in dialogue with 81⁄2  by the great Federico Fellini, this performance weaves together video, sampling, dance, and spoken word – against darkness, against all odds.
