With headphones on, on the street, the performer walks and moves to the rhythm of the music. He stops, talks to a passer-by, then crouches down and assumes the posture of a cat, or a dog, plays ball with a child, drinks water from a fountain, a lady invites him to sit on a bench and asks: “What’s happening?”
More focused on practice than on choreographic structure, this short solo opens up to the randomness of encounters by writing the dramaturgy in real time.
This is precisely the project’s founding attempt: not to create, but to bring attention to what is already alive in itself, suggesting the unrepeatability of the present moment.
