Inspired by the method of ballet master Enrico Cecchetti, GRAZIOSISSIMO explores the “port de bras,” a codified gesture in classical dance (specifically, the passage of the arms through the basic positions of classical dance), demonstrating how it can integrate into our daily experience. Adopting a minimalist approach, GRAZIOSISSIMO aims to turn the spectator’s perspective upside down, transforming sophisticated movements into familiar ones: the extraordinary becomes ordinary.
With precision and delicacy, the three dancers reveal the potential of the “port de bras,” and the choreography, while maintaining formal purity, is enriched by a human and relational dimension, drawing inspiration from the atmosphere of group dances, where coordinated gestures and movements create a sense of togetherness.
