DEDICA is a project conceived by Sara Sguotti that develops through the invitation to establish an authentic dialogue with a physical space and a unique, exclusive, and unrepeatable sound. Each time, the structure of the work is profoundly influenced and shaped by the environment in which it comes to life, transforming into a score guided by the architecture of the space itself.
The encounter with the place, the audience, and the sound generates an atmosphere rich with meaning—a sort of magical ritual where intimacy becomes the vehicle for profound and personal reflection. The space transforms into a container of emotions and perceptions, inviting the audience to engage in both a private and collective dialogue. The sincerity of the gestures manifests in an experience that transcends mere observation. Spectators are, in fact, called to dedicate themselves to the work in an intimate and subjective way, responding to what they see and hear with their personal sensitivity. DEDICA aims to re-establish a form of concrete, real, and tangible communication, one that does not fear the possibility of failure but rather embraces immediate adaptation as an integral part of the creative process. The project thus becomes a tribute to ourselves, a celebration of our
journey of continuous adaptation often inevitable yet capable of generating subtle and profound pleasure. It is a Dedication to ourselves and to the restrained pleasure of adaptation.
