CANI LUNARI explores the archaic feminine imagination and the magical knowledge associated with the figure of the witch as an emblem of marginal wisdom. Blending ritual and theatrical play, the performers dance through ecstatic states and metamorphoses, evoking the porous boundary between the human and the ultra-human. The iconography of the Salpêtrière and folk traditions merge to become living matter. With a soundscape by Vera Di Lecce that weaves together nature, ancient chants, and electronics, CANI LUNARI is a white sabbath: a sensorial and political journey to re-enchant the world.
