Segni mossi

Segni mossi is a research project founded in 2014 by visual artist Alessandro Lumare and choreographer Simona Lobefaro to explore the interaction between movement, space and graphic marks with people of all ages and abilities.
It was selected by HundrED organization as one of the 100 most innovative educational projects worldwide for the years 2017 and 2019.
In the years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023, it was a module of Movement and Graphic Sign within the Educando in Danza program at the Italian National Academy of Dance.
Since 2015, it has engaged around 10,000 participants in over 500 participatory events hosted in wide variety of contexts, including renowned cultural centers, festivals, NGOs, and universities across 35 countries around the world.
Segni Mossi promotes coexistence and the valorization of diversity through art, conducting annual workshops in public schools in socially complex contexts in Rome, in collaboration with the Fondazione Mus-e Italia.
