Pietro Angelini

Born in Grosseto in 1991. He has been living in Rome since 2010, where he works as a playwright, actor, and director in both theater and cinema. He followed a dynamic and cross-disciplinary educational path that led him to work with, among others, Dynamis (2011-2019), Bob Wilson, Semen Aleksandrovskiy, Kinkaleri, Collettivo Cinetico, Odin Teatret, and Alessandro Businaro.
For the audiovisual market, he has been directed by Niccolò Falsetti, Abel Ferrara, Gabriele Salvatores, Stefano Sollima, Marco Bellocchio, Edoardo De Angelis, Christophe Honoré.
He graduated in Discipline of Arts, Music and Performing Arts. He specialized in Cinema, Television and Multimedia Production.
Since 2020, he has been the author of the projects he stages. He wrote and performed UN ONESTO E PARZIALE DISCORSO SOPRA I MASSIMI SISTEMI, with which he debuted at the eighteenth edition of Kilowatt Festival. In 2023, he debuted with RMX, a project realized in collaboration with the artist Karlo Mangiafesta, in which he directed dancers Francesca Santamaria and Vittorio Pagani. In 2025, he debuted at Romaeuropa Festival with SEVERAL LOVE’S REQUESTS, created and performed together with Pietro Turano.
He collaborates on dramaturgy for the projects SUPERSTELLA by Vittorio Pagani and the trilogy GOOD VIBES ONLY by Francesca Santamaria.
His projects have been presented in contexts such as Romaeuropa Festival, Vetrina della giovane danza d’autore, Kilowatt Festival, Hangart Festival, Città delle 100 scale, Teatro Comunale di Vicenza, Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo, Teatri di Vita, Carrozzerie NOT, Ferrara OFF, Teatro Argot.
