What happens if we resist the temptation to complete a gesture too early and we allow ourselves time to contemplate and to expand the space from which movement is arising?
Mute stems from the desire to celebrate the movement beginning, grasping the potential and the generative force of the space from which it emerges. The work turns the gaze towards the space of relation between bodies, listening to the continuous silent conversation occurring between points and places of contact. The topic of movement beginning thus emerges as a constant desire for conjunction, and a force able to transform the space in between into a tactile and resonant net of connections.
