The accursed share: Journey to the edge of theatre is a cycle of documentary films dedicated to protagonists of contemporary art and culture who put in crysis the distinctions between disciplines with their work. Performing arts, philosophy, the very idea of performativity reveal themselves for what they are: representations questioning the present day uncompromisingly.
Meeting one of the most important philosophers of our time is an invite to rethink the relationship between philosophy and writing, political action and arts. A journey that brings us to a radical confrontation with different forms of knowledge, and the chance they provide to tap into a lost wisdom.
Carlo Sini is a philosopher. He had the chair of Theorethical Philosophy at the State University of Milan. For many years he was member of the board of the Italian Philosophical Society, of the Institut International de Philosophie of Paris e of the Husserl Archives in Leuven. He is national associate of Accademia dei Lincei. The bibliography of his publications counts more than fourty volumes.
