Folk Tales sets up a dreamlike and visionary battlefield.
The identity boundaries between the two performers are challenged: according to the etymon “decision.”
The duel dimension does not establish the superiority of one power over the other, but that of investigating how dynamics and rules within it give rise to different forms and combinations. The investigation shifts to the generative power that the encounter has.
The performers thus draw the space, initiating choreographic scores according to where on the board the encounter occurs.
The constant tension between the two performers never leads to the completion of the clash but rather to a continuous search for possibilities.
The alternation of choreographic elements finds an ever-changing configuration by renewing listening and availability as practices.
